Merry Christmas!

Zelda and the Isaksson family wishes you a merry christmas!

Merry Christmas?

If I were not bitter before I am now. I will never trust again.

Merry Christmas.

Eating according to bloodgroup

I have encountered something called “eating according to bloodgroup” a couple of times.

I admit I have not dived into this subject very much but my initial intuition says that this is bullshit. Pseudoscience often makes claims based on studies done on very few individuals (< 100) or some other vague misinterpretation or down right manipulation of statistics.

I fail to see how bloodgroup would have this dramatic effect on our health depending on what we eat. I think evolution would have sorted a thing like that out millions of years ago.

In short, unless you hand me rock hard evidence, this is yet another myth. Just like the one about us needing to drink much much more water than our own bodies tells us we need by getting thirsty.

Primary election

It’s time to choose the candidates for the Pirate Party in the election 2010!

As the first candidate I have selected Johanna Julén. Which is one of the most intelligent people I know. I think she will do very well indeed.

The second candidate is Fredrik Holmbom. I want him there because I want the northern parts of Sweden represented as well, plus I know him well and know he is a good person.

As the third candidate I have chosen Gun Svensson. I think she is the oldest member of the Pirate Party as of now so she has a unique perspective and a unique experience that we very well might need.

As for the rest of the list I have chosen a mix of people with skills that I think we need, to make a group of people complementing each other. In other words, I have not chosen 19 programmers or 19 students or whatever. And yes, Rick is one of those 19, of course :) .

As a side note, I am going to write this blog in english from now on. It seems I have readers in other countries (well, as much as they could read, but they wanted to anyway :) ) so I apologize for the somewhat unflexible language, It has been a long time since I expressed myself in english in any regular manner so it needs a bit of brushing up I’m afraid. :) .

As another side note. Here is some sales statistics of the Swedish musicindustry. The green represents live shows, the yellow represents various collectionsocieties such as STIM and so on, and the orange represent CD and DVD royalties. As we can see, the music industry makes more money than ever and the record companies are waning away. Good riddance.
